- Made to live in the sun! The Agave Shaka Zulu loves sunshine. More equals better with this little plant. Put the Agave in a window sill that receives lots of natural sunlight.
- No sunlight? No problem! Place the plant under a light fixture that has a LED bulb with high lumen. Make sure it gets a minimum of 6hrs of uninterrupted light every day.
- Go Easy on the water! Unlike us these guys do not get thirsty after sitting in the sun all day. Only water when the soil has completely dried out and the leaves look slightly deflated.

This cultivar was created by Kelly Griffin when she crossed the Agave Attenuata and Agave Ocahui. Both are native to Mexico.
Who is Agave 'Shaka Zulu'?
The Agave 'Shaka Zulu' is more than just a tongue twister. The thick succulent leaves come to a sharp point, giving it a fierce appearance. Named after the Zulu chief, Shaka. The founder of the South African Zulu empire.
This Agave has several common names one of them being Blue Glow and it's easy to see why!
