Light
In the wild, it grows beneath the leaf canopy of larger trees and shrubs, so no direct sun reaches its leaves. It likes dappled light.
Water
Likes to be watered thoroughly in the summer. Mist it often to raise the humidity. During the winter, reduce watering but do not let it dry out completely.
Temperature
Prefers warm to high temperatures, ideally between 18-23°C but it can cope with as low as 15°C.
Feeding
A wee bit of liquid fertiliser every 2-3 weeks during growing season is all it needs.
Grooming
It won't need much grooming, just remove dead leaves.
Care
Yellowing leaves can be due to over or under watering. Make sure its soil is moist but not wet and it should be all good.

It can grow to a height of 2 m.
Toxicity
Its leaves contain insoluble calcium oxalates which can be poisonous to pets and children if ingested, so best to keep me away from nibblers.
