Being a native of rainforests, it doesn’t cope well with direct sunlight as this is blocked by canopies. Make sure your plant is placed somewhere with medium to bright light

Make sure the top few inches of the soil is dry between waterings. Water every week during summer and less in winter

Keep in a well-heated room during the winter as the plant does not like the cold weather
